Kihim is a beautiful beach front located towards the north of Alibaug around 13 km away. Unspoilt and isolated Kihim beach is a great escapade very popular among Mumbaikars. The magical sand, the breathtaking sunset and the safe water of this beach has always attracted visitors to this beach. The beach has many accommodation option available and hence one can find it a perfect getaway for weekends. Thouh compared to Kashid and revdanda, the beach is left dirty thanks to the visitors who throw plastic bags and other garbage on the beach without any guilt.

How to reach Kihim Beach:

Kihim Beach is just 13 km from Alibaug. One may reach Kihim from Mumbai via Alibaug in not less that 3 hours( depending on the traffic). Additionally there are many buses from Mumbai CentraL, Borivli and Thane which ply regularly to Alibaug from where you can take a jeep taxi or bus to Kihim. Kihim can be also reached by Jetty via Mumbai. Take the ferry services from Gateway of India and get down at Mandawa or Revas from there take a jeep taxi or bus to Kihim.
