By air: The nearest airport for Aurangabad is Aurangabad Airpot which serves as a domestic as well as international airport. The airport has regular connecting flights from major cities of India including Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Nagpur, Jaipur and Pune. From the airport, one has the option fo hiring private taxis or taking the MSRTC ( Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation) buses which connect to all the important destinations within the city.

By rail: Aurangabad falls on the South Cnetral Railway Route and hence serves as an important station on the Secundarabad - Manmad Route. Many passenger trains ply regularly to Aurangabad from major cities in India including Mumbai, Bhopal, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Delhi, Erode, Pune, Kurnool, Nagpur, Naded and many other cities.

By road: Aurangabad is easily accessible by roads via the NH 211 Highway which passes through the city from Dhule to Solapur. By road Aurangabad is well connected to all the major cities in India, and the best route for Aurangabad is the new Nagpur - Aurangabad - Mumbai via Express Highway.
